The anti-virus that I use and that it weathers me for the past several months is NOD32 v 2.7. It has already an anti-spyware/malware built on it. Once when I downloaded a file from what I call a suspicious website, while the download status bar shows and on the process of downloading, after a few seconds the AV detected that it is a "mutiple infiltration" so what I did was I disconnect it thereby cancelling the download.

I also found out a very useful website VirusTotal.com, where you can submit a file sample to be check if there is any anomaly, tampering or suspicious file reside on your computer. It includes 32 AV companies that will help scan your uploaded file.
I experimented an html file where I cloak the original file with an html encrypter and the result was 2 out of 32 showed that is a malware. E-safe is a company I know of that will check even rouge website, similar to StopBadware.org. So I conclude that some Internet Marketers who uses redirect scripts to cloak their affiliate links or hide it by cloaking, will also flag by thier client as spyware or malware.
I remember when I use affiliate link cloaker way back 2004. It was very effective then but now its already 2007, I don't think it's effective now.
