Brief background about Google Adsense:

Google Adsense is an advertising program run by Google where advertisers are allowed to set up text, image and video ads on their websites. It will create revenue when a visitor come to your website and click on any of the Google ads placed in a webpage. Such example can be found here at Cliffordx.com homepage.

Here's how you can start earning from my blog. First you need to create an account.

Creating an account is very easy and you only need a valid email address. You only need to fill the form your username, your email address, accept the terms & conditions, have read the privacy policy and enter the turing/captcha code.

Next, you click the "Create new acount" after which you'll have to check your email to retrieve your auto-generated password.

Note that this password is encrypted on our server and in case you forgot your password, you have to request new password by entering the email address you use when you create the account. If you forgot which email address you use to create the account, just notified me so that I can get your email address back.

You will see in your email your username and your password. Now login using these details or you may want to click the one-time login link provided to automatically signed you up and will be redirected to edit your account.

If you login using your login details, at your right menu, under your account username, select "My Account".

Or when if you use the link to login, just click the edit link.

Here is where you create your new password. After that step, we need to go Advertising. Select 'Advertising' under 'Edit' menu.

1. Do you pay me for my Google Adsense earnings?
Absolutely NOT. Your earnings which are derived from clicks made from any website that have your adsense account ID hosted/installed are sole responsibility of your account in Google Adsense.

2. Which part of the webpage will have my Adsense code shown?
Your adsense code ID will appear on selected pages like the front page, in your blog, in the story you created and in the product category. It does not appear in your profile account and in other categories. What appears there is the admin google account ID.

3. Do have I to click any of the Google Adsense advertisements?
The rule of the thumb. DON'T EVER CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADSENSE ACCOUNT or you'll account will be banned. If you want to participate in Adsense Revenue Sharing program, I advise not to click any Ads from Google even if it is from the admin. There's a feature where you can optionally hide the ads from your webpage to prevent accidental clicks.

4. How will I know that the page I created has my Google adsense ID in it?
Go to the page where you have contents shown. Right-click the page and select "View Source". Then search for the code where it says "google_ad_client = "pub-098794xxxxxxxxxx" Check if this is the ID you have in your Adsense account.
