A Quick and Dirty Guide How I Earn Affiliate Commissions for a High-Ticket Products
Last May 9, I promoted Eben Pagan’s Guru Home Study Course, a strip-down, condensed version of his $6 to $12K a year Guru Mastermind program. The product cost $2k to $5k and the affiliate commisions is ranging from $800 to $2k per sale.
During the launch I manage to get only a little over 70 leads, a 1,000 clicks and zero sales BUT after a few days I’m glad to announce that i manage to get 2 sales for a total of $1,600. Not bad for a few hours of work doing what I call “Google Your Way To Riches” by dominating the search engines and using the Web 2.0 property.

Here’s what I did and I will releasing a full report on this on the coming days. (I’m busy right now preparing another launch, it will be big!)
1. Look for product to promote before it launches (pre-launch). Especially big launches. (Best place to know is at JV Notify Pro website)
2. Get a domain name and hosting, setup wordpress and put up a content. Get content from the pre-launch video, transcribe it into text. Post it on your blog. Always make sure there’s a way for them to optin to receive information when the product launches. (another way to have unique article without writing or ghostwriting is what I describe on my post here. Note:You need to signup to view the post)
3. Start the concept of linkwheel. If you don’t know it Google it. Short explanation in #4 below.
4. Sign up Social Media and Social Bookmarking sites (Youtube, Squidoo, Hub Pages, Twitter, etc) and interlink those site to your focus site, (e.g your blog), forming like a wheel structure. (Detailed info about web 2.0 sites with high PR can be found on my blog post here and here.)
5. Do it every single day and make sure you post new content related to the topic or niche that you are promoting. Track those links as much as possible and check your conversion. (e.g. how many optin or click your link,etc) Good tracker is Prosper202. Get it, its free.
6. Wait for the sales to trickle down. Hope and pray. Or count the chicks before they hatch.
