Linking your business to other sites
I received an email from one of my members regarding this question,
how do I post links to my website?
Well, this is really a newbie question but I’m going to answer this straight to the point. Hold on, if you are an experienced blogger or marketer, you’ll be surprise the new ways how to do linking your business to other sites.
Here’s the straight shooter answer. Use Web 2.0 authority sites (With emphasis on authority. For one thing this is a good start! not by all means the only way, sugar)
1. Signup to Web 2.0 websites, complete your details and profiles and enter your website name or affiliate website link.
a. Create lens on Squidoo. Write an article about your business. Put your business link there. Boom. You have link back to your site.
b. Also do the the same with the following. Hubpages, Facebook, Wetpaint, Propeller. Why these sites? They have no less than PR5 sites. Why ask?
c. Submit those articles to Digg, Technorati, delicious.
d. Submit an article to EzineArticles.com. Put your resource box on each of this article with your website link or affiliate link. Whatever.
e. Write a blog at blogspot.com or Wordpress.com. Link back to your site. Just be careful. Wordpress will disable your site if you blantantly link back your site. Use video from youtube.
f. Submit Press releases. There are free release site you can submit or paid like PRWeb.
g. Submit to a directory sites related to your business.
h. Classified ads, banner ads, etc.
Hey this is a long winded topic but I hope you get the gist. It boils down to “TRAFFIC” and how to advertise your business that gets people to visit your website or offer. O’ Traffic. We hate when it’s real traffic on the street but we love to get traffic for our website.
So there my answer. You can start from there. Comments? Please leave one below.
